I am a freelance documentary filmmaker based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a degree in Media and Film Studies from the University of Surrey (UK).
My professional career began with directing for Lithuanian National Radio and Television. Since 2012, I have mainly worked freelance as a director and producer, specializing in creative documentaries. My work has captivated audiences, won awards at international festivals such as Tallinn Black Nights and FIPADOC, and aired on leading networks including ARTE, VRT-CANVAS, and Al Jazeera. In 2022, I was honored with the Vilnius Film Festival award for emerging Lithuanian filmmaker, and in 2025, I received the Silver Crane Award for Best Lithuanian Feature Documentary ‘Murmuring Hearts’.
In addition to documentaries, I create music videos and video installations. I also collaborate as a producer and researcher on international film and TV projects and lecture at Vilnius Tech University. My work focuses on topics related to migration, history, and identity.
